A Cross Sister Tradition

Since 2014, my sisters & I have made a tradition of capturing portraits at our old family farm every Christmas holiday. Our maternal grandfather owned and operated the full functioning farm. We grew wheat, oats, soybeans, hay, straw and alfalfa. We had steers, milking Holsteins, pigs and chickens. Not to mention two or three large produce gardens. So much of our personal formation happened on this property. As a tribute to our family story, we return once a year for this mini photo session. It's something we as sisters look forward to. It's a fun to see our relationships and connection grow deeper over the years.
